Role & responsibilities
- To meet daily, weekly and monthly volume requirement.
- To achieve plant key performance metrics of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.
- Implementation of Quality systems e.g. ISO 9001, HACCP, 5S, SGA etc.
- To work on the optimization of cost and continuous process improvement
- To meet all production targets ensuring quality, on time delivery and optimization of resources.
- Commercialization of new products being developed.
- People leadership Lead and manage a team of engineers.
Preferred candidate profile
10 12 years in manufacturing out of which the candidate should have spent at least 3 4 years of experience in a Food Manufacturing factory in a leadership roles.
Job Related Skills
1. Knowledge of statutes relating to factories, GMPs and HACCP.
2. Completely familiar with latest manufacturing concepts like Lean Manufacturing (JIT, 5S, TPM, KAIZEN etc), SPC and SQC.
3. Knowledge of Product Quality norms and the impact of process variability on product quality
- Sufficient technical expertise to identify and distinguish between routine and exceptional product quality problems/ equipment downtime
